As someone who used to be a vegetarian and sees countless vegetarians in clinical practice, I can say the answer is not straightforward.

If I had to give a quick answer, I’d say yes. The realistic answer, though, is that everyone is different and so are their reactions to food.

Ultimately, caffeine is a drug. It gives us energy, clarity and the ability to take on the day.
